Thought the Wii Balance Board is a steady piece of equipment this Hori no-slip Yoga mat for [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] isn’t unnecessary luxury. The Wii Fit mat from Hori will go on sale in February for $34,90 at Play-Asia.

Wii Fit is the top sold game on December first on Amazon Japan so this game is beating all other entries in the video game category. Let’s hope that these sales continue for a few weeks because [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] deserves nice sales numbers!

According to Sinobi several Japanese retailers have preordered anywhere from 120,000 to 300,000 copies of [tag]Wii Fit[/tag]. That’s not much at all but the news doesn’t come from a reliable source either so we still have faith in Wii Fit and we believe that this game will be a worldwide success so we doubt that [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] will be a failure in Japan. The game is just too sweet too fail!

According to the EBGames website WiiFit will be selling for $69,99 with the Wii Balance Board. Nintendo announced at E3 2007 that the game packed with the WiiFit Wii Balance Board will cost more than $49,99, but they didn’t make an official announcement about a price. [tag]WiiFit[/tag] isn’t coming until 2008 so they still have time to announce their price.

More gamesites had the chance to put their feet on Nintendo’s Wii Balance Board. Using the pressure sensitive board they played the funkiest minigames and did the healthiest Step Aerobic exercises in the E3 2007 WiiFit techdemo. Kotaku shot some pictures of the Wii Balance Board and if you ask us, the thing looks strong enough to carry a whole lot of weight. It’s bigger than you’d think and it looks really steady.
