Time for another crossword game for the puzzlefreaks among us. The [tag]New York Times Crosswords[/tag] for the [tag]Nintendo DS[/tag] contains over 1000 puzzles featuring a WiFi multiplayer mode for up to two players. The game is already out here in the United States, but it isn’t available in Europe yet. European gamers won’t be familiar with these New York Times crosswords taken out of three years of the NYT archive, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t train your brain!

At the Nintendo Media Summit another puzzlegame was shown, namely Planet Puzzle League for the Nintendo DS. The game will off course be a part of the popular Touch! Generations series and it will feature a nice online Nintendo WiFi Connection mode. The game works actually the same like Tetris Attack for the SNES and Pokémon Puzzle League for the Nintendo 64: line up three or more blocks from the same color to clear them from the screen, try to form combos to earn even more points. Obviously this game will be another addictive puzzle game that will train your brainmuscles and it will keep your mind young. One of the good things about the online mode is that it will feature voice chat! More Nintendo DS games should get a voice chat function, it works so much better than typing messages to your opponent.
