The first [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] games with the [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag] are showing up in European stores, and that gives us some boxshots to look at! The design of the artwork on the PAL-box is a lot more simple than the fancy US box with the [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] lifestyle pictures on it. Notice that there’s also no [tag]Touch! Generations[/tag] sign on the PAL box.

There were some misunderstandings about the price of [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] in North America, but today [tag]Nintendo[/tag] of America announced that Wii Fit bundled with the [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag] will launch on May 19 at a suggested retail price of $89.99.
Boasting a dynamic mix of more than 40 yoga, aerobics, strength training and balance activities, [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] provides consumers with a fun, easy and affordable way to incorporate exercise into their daily routines. Using the included wireless [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag] accessory, every member of the household can step up and stay active, setting individual fitness goals and tracking their progress over time.
Consumers in the New York area who pre-order Wii Fit from the Nintendo World store in Rockefeller Plaza will receive a special bonus item. From April 18-20, the first 1,000 consumers who place a $5 deposit for Wii Fit will receive a limited edition Wii Fit T-shirt featuring the image and reproduced autograph of legendary Nintendo video game designer [tag]Shigeru Miyamoto[/tag].

The Guardian tested three methods to lose weight, and one of them was off course [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] and the [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag] from Nintendo. The person who played Wii Fit for the [tag]Wii[/tag] said she had a great time working out, but she probably didn’t take enough time to get the proper amount of exercise to lose weight playing Wii Fit and the minigames in the game.
Verdict: It’s fun, with some challenging aspects. Did I lose weight? No, but I might if I carry on.
