Those lucky bastards at RevoGamers.net got a [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] press sample from [tag]Nintendo[/tag] with a nice little extra: [tag]Wii[/tag] socks! These should come in stores, I’m sure they give you a nice extra grip on the [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag].

Dutch Nintendo blog Gamersdag got the chance to get their feet on the [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag] and Wii Fit and they took some time to snap a few pictures of their first [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] experiences. Thanks to the Wii Freeloader, gamers can already start exercising with a Japanese version of [tag]Wii Fit[/tag]. There’s a lot of images that should lead you to the different healthy [tag]Wii[/tag] minigames, but there’s also a lot of text that explains the goal of certain games. The guys at NTSC uk took some time to translate some of the menus of Wii Fit and the [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag] explanation in the Japanese version of [tag]Wii Fit[/tag]. Definitely a tryout for the non-Japanese [tag]Wii[/tag] Fit owners out there!

[tag]Wii Fit[/tag] is coming to the US, and producers of gaming accessories realise that. Japanese producer Trust Technology has developed a silicone skin for the [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag] from [tag]Nintendo[/tag]. This cover should give you a better grip when standing on the Wii Fit board and it is also said to massage your feet. It should also keep your feet nice and warm while playing [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] on the [tag]Wii[/tag]. This is probably one of the first, but certainly not one of the last [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] related gadgets.

PAL gaming has published their [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] impressions. Just like all other gaming websites, they’re really looking forward to the release of this great [tag]Nintendo[/tag] title. They say the [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag] works just perfect and they expect the game to be a big hit as well. According to them the impact of the game on your health is irrelevant, they believe the fun factor of the game is more important. We’ll see what impact it can have on your health when we’re getting the game and the [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag] under our feet!

Dutch TV station RTL took some time to visit their local Nintendo office to have an interview with some [tag]Nintendo[/tag] reps to inform their viewers about the [tag]Wii[/tag], [tag]Wii Sports[/tag] and off course the new [tag]Wii Fit[/tag] with the [tag]Wii Balance Board[/tag]. It’s nice to see that the Wii is getting some nice publicity all over the world, and maybe you won’t understand a word of it but watch those casual gamers smile while they’re playing!
